Executive headteacher's welcome
Mrs C Chapman
Welcome to Ss Peter & Paul's Catholic Primary School
Welcome to our school community where we are ‘Learning to Value; Learning to Achieve and Grow in the Peace of Christ’ each day as we journey through school.
I hope our website gives you a flavour of life at our school and helps you to find information about the wonderful things we do here.
"We are a warm, friendly school where the staff, Governors and parish community work together to provide a caring and safe environment in which children thrive."
We encourage the children to be independent, responsible and enthusiastic learners. We enjoy working in partnership with parents/carers to empower our children to reach their full potential and enable them to develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, morally and socially.
At Ss Peter and Paul’s we follow what Jesus taught us in the Gospels; we know that God made us and that we are all equal – no-one is better than anyone else so we respect, value and learn to tolerate everyone in our school community.
We are thankful for the talents and gifts God has given each member of our school community and we all work hard to use them to make sure we make our school, our local community and the world a better place.
Our children are excellent ambassadors for our school and they work together to make sure that everyone in our school is happy and feels safe by being kind, caring, well behaved and polite.

Our VALUES & Aims
Learning to Achieve & grow
in the peace of christ
At Ss Peter and Paul’s we aim to promote a learning community based on the Gospel values of love, trust and respect where the achievements of everyone are recognised and celebrated.
Learning to Value, Learning to Give, Learning to Achieve, Growing in the Peace of Christ.
At our school, we are proud to uphold six key values that were thoughtfully created by our pupils. Each value is linked to a significant Saint whose life reflects the meaning of that value. Through learning about these Saints, pupils are encouraged to reflect on how they can live out these values in their own lives, growing closer to Jesus through their actions, choices, and relationships. This approach helps to nurture a strong sense of faith, character, and community across all year groups.

Our School Aims
This vision is to be shared by all the school community through the following ways:
- To be committed to honesty and responsibility in all relationships.
- To provide a rich, exciting and stimulating curriculum which challenges every pupil to achieve their maximum potential.
- To create a family ethos with a caring and welcoming atmosphere that gives us all a sense of belonging.
- To provide a calm, safe environment for every person to grow, learn and feel valued.
- To provide each individual with the life skills necessary to become a responsible citizen, committed to the church.
- To provide opportunities to form links with local, national and international communities, developing our understanding of the world beyond our school.
